Acceptance of Terms
By using the E-Bill Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, CEC is unable to provide the E-Bill Service to you. Your continued use of this service thereafter represents an ongoing acceptance of the agreement. You may discontinue the E-Bill Service at any time by contacting CEC.
Service Limitations
Our goal is to ensure E-Bill availability 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, we cannot always anticipate network or other technical problems. For this reason, you agree the E-Bill Service is provided “AS IS”, without warranties. We do not assume responsibility for timeliness, deletion, missed delivery, or failure to store user data, communications or personalized settings.
CEC reserves the right to change or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the E-Bill Service at any time without notice. You agree that CEC will not be liable to you or any third party for any revision or discontinuation of the E-Bill Service.
Conditions for Use
For the security of our E-Bill system, please follow the following guidelines. Violation of these usage conditions may terminate your participation in this service.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide true and accurate information as requested in our account setup forms. You also agree not to misrepresent your identity.
Password
When registering, you will be asked to select a password. Because you are responsible for all activities that occur using your E-Bill account and password, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Please notify CEC if any unauthorized use of your E-Bill account occurs. CEC is not liable for any loss you may incur as a result of someone else using your E-Bill account, either with or without your knowledge.
Account Access
You agree that CEC employees may have access to your account information as required to investigate technical issues or billing problems.
Disclaimer of Warranties
CEC makes no warranty that the E-Bill Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that the information obtained from use of the service will be accurate. Furthermore, CEC does not warranty that errors in the technology will be corrected.
Limitation of Liability
You agree that CEC will not be liable for any harm, even if CEC has been advised of the possibility of such damages, resulting from:
- The use of E-Bill Service
- The inability to use E-Bill Service
- The cost of using substitute payment services if the E-Bill Service is unavailable
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or data transfers
- Statements, conduct, or any other matter relating to the service
